My Story

Lynda Thoresen

I grew up on a farm in Canada. I learned the value of hard work and never to say, "I'm bored."

My son was born when I was 18, and my life changed drastically. I switched into survival mode and needed to prove that I could make it on my own.

My first jobs were in the service industry, mostly in restaurants and bars, with the odd karaoke hosting gig.

I started working out in the gym in 1997 and immediately found a deep passion for fitness. I spent 20 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and nutrition coach. I competed in 18 physique competitions in the bodybuilding, figure, and fitness categories from 1998 to 2006. Then I returned to the stage in 2015 for two more shows.

Through these experiences, I developed a great work ethic, learned to challenge myself to be my best, and grew as an athlete. On the other hand, I developed body dysmorphia and eating disorders, as well as damaged my body through repeated injuries and unbalanced nutrition, which eventually led to my exit from the fitness world.

In my 40s, I experienced a major change in hormones combined with less intense exercise and more "bad foods" incorporated into my lifestyle. The result was a dramatic increase in ADHD symptoms that had previously been well managed with high intensity and volume of exercise, a clean diet, and the intense schedule that a competitive fitness lifestyle demands.

For the past few years, I have practiced more holistic health and lifestyle methods and have been working with mentors and coaches in the areas of my life that I desire to improve. I feel like I’m at my best ever!

These experiences have created a strong desire to coach people in healthier ways to become their best selves.

I believe that becoming our best selves includes living a life of financial abundance.

Having fewer financial stresses frees your energy, mind, and time to do bigger things. This freedom gives you more opportunity to connect, create, inspire, and serve.

My objective is to lift women up and guide them towards resources and education that will empower them to create a life that is focused on their own joy and happiness.

Are you ready to live a happier, more fulfilled life? Now is your time to Level UP & UP & UP!
